History & Approach
In February 1994, Key Choice Insurance Marketing Limited was established with 100 broker
members and two insurer partners. Since then it has grown significantly in brokers and insurers.
All its insurers are all committed to the success of the broker / intermediary channel.
It is by working together that we can harness the collective power of the network to give
you the punch you need in today’s competitive environment.
Our name tells you a great deal about our approach, partnership. KC Partners is designed to deliver
real benefits to brokers and insurers, helping to make their business better.
Back to basics
KC Partners goes back to basics in understanding what brokers need and what insurers want. In simple
terms it delivers a range of competitive general insurance schemes, from a select panel of insurers and
other product providers.
Members get preferential trading terms, access to markets and long-term relationships with insurer partners.
In return we provide insurers with large volumes of electronically traded business, underpinned with solid management
information and regional development programmes.
The power of collective business
By harnessing the collective business held individually by members of the network, KC Partners has been able
to present a powerful distribution proposition to its panel of insurers. We understand that collectively,
regional brokers like you control the majority of UK general insurance business.
Independence in an open market
Different to many other propositions, KC Partners allows it's members to keep their independence and insurers
continue to acknowledge them under individual agencies. Unlike some other players in the market we make no levy
on your business written, your commission is all yours.
Any preferred or partner broker terms with individual insurers remain in place. KC Partners facilities are
always in addition to, rather than in place of any deals you may already have.
Likewise, although KC Partners offers strong personal and commercial lines products, it combines these with
the open market, not restricting where you place your business.
